Chapman Tate is looking to recruit an experienced QA/ Test Analyst to work in a busy Agile development environment. You will be a key member of the development team working in a client-facing role. Ideally, you will be comfortable in a role that will involve both manual and automated testing. You will be involved in projects from project initiation.

To be a success in this role you will be a tester who works well as part of an integrated development. You will work with the development team to improve QA processes and procedures. You will ideally be someone who works as a facilitator, who will engage constructively with clients and colleagues to deliver quality solutions with minimal rework. You should have previously worked in an Agile development environment. Experience with Selenium and setting up automated test frameworks would be an advantage.

- Define test plans: defining the test approach for any new functionality, define integration tests across products and components, etc.

- Execute exploratory tests of new functionality, report on testability

- Develop, execute and maintain automated (regression) testing scripts;

- Define, build and maintain the test environment and tools, across Support, QA & Development teams, and ensure they are in line

- Create summary reports on test results regularly

Experience Required

- Programming languages, preferably Java

- Databases, the SQL language

- OS scripting (Windows CMD, Unix Shell)

- Installing and configuring operating systems (Windows Server and Linux)

- Automated testing tools, like Selenium
