There are2 people loading the machines at night so you may be required to set a machine for someone to run that night.
Skills required:

We are looking for someone who has experience in programming CNC machine centres with a Fanuc control
Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked 'Haas' machining centres
In order to do the above the necessary candidate would need to be able to understand engineering drawings.
What we are looking for in you:

Someone who needs minimal supervision to undertake their daily tasks
We need someone that works in a safe, organized manner
It is important you have pride in the quality level you achieve.

This is a temp to perm position

Role:

You will play a pivotal role within a dynamic support team, being someone the junior members of the team look up to and see as having a greater technical knowledge. You will be providing both hardware and software support in a 60/40 split for the local office and will be responsible for making proactive contributions to on-going improvements of the Support function.

Duties include managing issues escalated from the Service Desk; dealing with enquiries via telephone, email and desk-side; logging and tracking all work via a ticketing system; ensuring all requests are responded to and resolved in a timely manner; and assisting the Audio-Visual team with the setup and support of conference rooms.

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in 2nd line support
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2016
  • Experience in supporting and setting up meeting rooms eg WebEx, Cisco etc.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Problem solver and a can do' attitude

The following are desirable:

  • Experience working at a law firm
  • ITIL Foundation

Shift Pattern:

Must be flexible with the shift pattern that rotates on a weekly basis, including an 8:30am start (earliest) and an 8pm finish (latest)

Salary: Up to GBP39,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits (including 25 days' leave every year with an option to buy extra, childcare vouchers etc.)
