My client is a small agency of 15 people with some exciting clients and a friendly atmosphere. They've been established for over ten years and are continually growing the team. They regularly enter industry awards and have had success with the likes of Wirehive and The Drum. We are looking for a talented web developer that likes to keep up to date with the latest technologies and takes pride in their code and the user experience. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING/WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- A creative problem solver with a future-friendly approach to mobile-first responsive coding
- A solid understanding of the fundamental aspects of HTML, CSS, JS & SVG
- Someone passionate about front-end, with a focus on performance, semantics, and web standards
- A user-focussed mindset
- Good communication skills within the team and with clients
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- An awareness and interest in industry trends and attention-grabbing front-end techniques
IT WOULD BE IDEAL TO HAVE…
- HTML, CSS
- JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery, JSON, AJAX)
- Git
- Linux
- Knowledge of content modelling and how it translates to CMS implementations
- Craft CMS and ExpressionEngine (or Twig templating)
- PHP / OOP
- LAMP / LEMP
- Nginx / Apache
- Relevant experience in a similar fast-paced agency environment
