This is a multi-faceted position crucial to the company delivering technical projects. You’ll predominantly be focused on device architecture however the patterns being used internally are synonymous with Microsoft C# and Microservices, so this background will be important. You’ll be a people person, confident working with Solutions Architects and the sales team in equal measure to elicit/fulfil requirements.

The projects you will be working on have global reach and you’ll be part of a large, high-performing team where you retain autonomy and control but can progress your career, as even at an architect level the team has double-digit headcount.

What you'll need to succeed
In terms of essentials we need someone who has progressed from a C#.NET background working with Microservice Architectures. You will have Agile team experience, a good understanding of SOLID design and ideally will have worked with devices and Internet of Things platforms.

Things change rapidly here, so someone comfortable moving across technologies would suit. You’ll perform a hybrid role will be comfortable defining an architectural vision, then communicating that across the business at different levels, whilst not being removed from Visual Studio / C#.

Their architecture is built upon a combination of best of breed vendor systems and in house developed applications that complement each other. It is the Integration Development Team that is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of these systems and the integration layer that allows these systems to communicate with each other. There is a large book of work from developing various custom solutions to integrating 3rd Party systems into their architecture.

The candidate will be involved in the full development life cycle, from business and technical analysis, design and development through to release. They will be exposed to the technical aspects of several systems, from underlying databases, through to services and UIs, developing in house applications to support all areas of the business.

As an Integration Team member, they will also become part of the technical decision-making team who constantly strive to optimise systems and work across the various development teams build an evolutionary architecture that can cope with the demands of today but also of the ever-increasing demands of the future.

You will be developing enterprise business applications to define best practices. This role will give you exposure to web development, mobile development and MS Azure cloud environment.

You will be funded where necessary to undertake training courses. There is no red tape and the working environment is reactionary/Agile rather than rigid. The company is looking for hungry developers that are on an upward trajectory in their career.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have commercial experience working with Asp.Net, MVC and C#. .NET Core is the principal framework that they have adopted for their new work. Knowledge of writing automated tests using NUint, XUnit and Selenium will also serve you well.
