We're on the search for a Test Lead who can help our client who will help lead and coordinate the testing of the software produced by the in-house development teams. You will be essential in the success for the developer of a bespoke CRM system. 

Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Help lead and mentor a team consisting of permanent and supplier test resources.
  • Development of test scripts from use cases, user stories and other sources.
  • Write and maintain performance load testing scripts using jMeter.
  • Manage the creation and on-going development of an automated testing framework for use by the teams.
  • Lead the team in undertaking testing both during development sprints and in the lead up to product releases.
  • Support multiple Scrum delivery teams with estimation, planning and status reporting.
  • Ensure the maintenance of test environments, ensuring best practices for data quality and
  • consistency.
  • Collaborating with the other testers and members of the development team to set up and run automated tests using Selenium and automated test scripts in C# using SpecFlow.

To be considered for the role you'll NEED the following experience: 

  • Ability to define a test strategy including test approach, test data management and environments.
  • Functional test planning, preparation and execution including experience of test design techniques.
  • Knowledge of .NET Framework and C#.
  • Knowledge of load testing practices and tools such as jMeter.
  • Knowledge of Selenium, SpecFlow and xUnit as well as Jasmine.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools, such as Azure DevOps (aka VSO).
  • Understanding of Octopus/TeamCity and their use within testing.
