As part of a global team, Live Service Management is a team of DevOps specialists, responsible for the availability, performance and security of all Sage online products and services. This role can be based out of one of our many offices including Newcastle, Dublin, and Manchester. 

With the customer at the heart of everything we do, you will work closely with development, test, and commercial teams, to design and agree a hosting architecture that promotes high availability, scalability, and security, whilst remaining cost effective. Working closely with product teams to integrate with the change and incident management processes, you will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service management. 

Many of our products & services are on cloud platforms, enabling flexibility and scalability that is difficult to achieve in a traditionally hosted environment. Cloud experience is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our fast moving Projects Team delivering leading edge high value IT projects. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of an ambitious team that is looking to enhance its capabilities whilst providing you the opportunity to learn and develop new skills. The Apprentice Project Administrator will join Daisy Corporate Services and will learn and develop skills relational to that of a competent Project Administrator. The programme will involve a structured training and development plan linked to identified skills matrix and the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first class admin support to the PMO Team and the wider Projects dept when required
  • Validation of all new requests in to the PMO Dept.
  • Processing requests on Daisy’s systems, Sage, Odin, Service Now, Daisy Central, plus others
  • Delivery against agreed Team SLA's
  • Achievement of agreed individual objectives
  • Collaboration with various internal and external customers when required.
  • Validate all new Project requests in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Create the required Customer Folders in line with current Project Governance
  • Provide support administration duties and produce reports using standard Excel tools.
  • Process orders using Sage, Odin, Service Now, Daisy Central plus any other Daisy tools of choice.
  • Ensure records are kept updated and accurate at all times.
  • Ensure Project Office procedure is adhered to at all times.
  • Liaise with respective internal and external customers to ensure delivery of first class administration.
  • Ensure that all assigned resource is utilised to maximum potential.

This is a Senior Java Engineer role and hence we are looking for someone with strong backend java coding background and who is looking to mentor couple of our junior and graduates. 

Our toolchain contains all the elements you might expect in a modern development environment and pipeline: IntelliJ, Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins.

Must have: 

• Excellent knowledge and extensive experience with Java

Essential Requirements:
