I'm delighted to be recruiting an IT Support Engineer for a leading manufacturing business based in West Norfolk, near King's Lynn.

Your responsibilities will be varied, ranging from Desktop Support on hardware, to report building and data extraction from the Oracle and SQL ERP systems, which you will be subject matter expert for. Tasks also include configuring, upgrading, testing and maintenance of the systems, and look to innovate where possible utilising new technologies.

The IT Support team complete tasks mostly face to face, helping staff at their desk to resolve issues. There are also major projects ahead to upgrade systems and hardware.

Desirable skills and experience:
Previously worked in an IT Support position
Knowledge of networks and infrastructure (LAN WAN Server etc)
Microsoft OS (7 & 10), the Microsoft Suite and Active Directory
Interest in technology, and learning new systems

Software Engineer (DV Eligible)

Role Summary

Our undisclosed client based in Milton Keynes is looking build an entire team of experienced developers to develop and maintain a new secure tool. As such we are looking for Software Engineers who are comfortable testing their own code.

Please note all candidates must be eligible and happy to go through a high level of security clearance.

Role and responsibilities

* Work with the Project Managers to ensure the delivery of accurate project documentation and designs.
* Follow a fast, iterative agile development approach.
* Produce detailed technical design specifications and documentation.
* Work with the technical Team Lead and the Product Owners to implement requirements during the development life cycle.
* Work closely and collaboratively with the test team (knowledge and understanding of testing best practices)

Skills and experience

* 3+ years relevant experience with a proven track record of delivering full life cycle software projects to time, cost, quality and meeting customers’ expectations and requirements using a recognised methodology.
* Strong understanding of the Enterprise Java Stack with a proven expertise in using JEE technologies such as EJB, JMS, Web Services.
* Unit test tools and frameworks.
* Familiarity with common development best practices (e.g. TDD, Agile, Scrum)
* Experience with various operating systems- ideally Linux.
* Ideally knowledge of any of the following programming languages C#, XML, XSLT, HTML, VB.NET, CSS, UML.
* Experience of Relational Database and Non-Relational Database technology e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB and NoSQL)
* Knowledge of continuous integration tools e.g. Jenkins.
* Experience of working in an agile project delivery environment.
* A good knowledge of Scripting languages (Java, Shell, Perl, Python etc.)

The successful Project Manager will have the following experience and skills:

I am looking for an experienced Business Analyst with experience of Financial Business Processes and Systems for a 4 month contract based in Manchester.

The resource will join a programme of work currently underway to replace the companies legacy Finance system. They currently use Oracle e-Business v12.1 and have a shortlist of 3 new products under consideration at this stage (Microsoft Dynamics AX, Sage or Workday).

Your role will be working on the procurement and scoping phase with the companies architects, key business stake holders, analysts, project managers and third party partner. The primary function for this role will be to support the project in providing business analysis of processes around the custom modules within their existing finance solution as well as looking to identify and capture key business (functional and non-functional) requirements that these modules serve. It will also involve understanding the data required to support the processes, any business rules, and any interfaces with other systems. Included in this will be some Technical Analysis on these custom modules to understand how they work, the nature of any complexity, and how bespoke they or the processes around them currently are and to then feed these requirements into the product selections. You will be expected to produce project deliverables (eg. requirements documents, use cases, data models, solution option papers, acceptance criteria, traceability matrix, scope definition, interviews, workshops, AS IS / TO BE process models, etc)
