JavaScript Developer - 3 Month Contract - Cambridge - up to £380/day DOE

My Cambridge based client are currently looking for a JavaScript Developer to join their product team. You will be joining 1 other developer in the newly formed team for a quickly growing arm of the business. It is an initial 3 month contract with a possible view to extend, with the opportunity for up to 2 days remote working a week.

They key technologies in use are React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.JS, and AWS. Experience in a DevOps environment would be highly beneficial.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Working on business approved projects:
    • Interpret requirements into working code

  • Exposure and experience with Progressive Web Apps is desirable.

What you will be doing

  • Use your extensive engineering and analysis experience to oversee and when necessary undertake full impact assessments of proposed cross platform changes identifying risk and mitigations.
  • Turn business requirements into technical contracts between the interrelated internally built and 3rd party systems and services.
  • Take the role of technical product owner and the responsibility to sign off on completed development.
