The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the main responsibilities will be to:

  • Work with Product Owners, Product Managers and Development team to design innovative solutions to their users' problems
  • Create and deliver user-centric UI designs from mock-ups through to full fidelity
  • Drive the full UX lifecycle (user research, ideation, personas, user journey maps, concept sketches, wireframes and testing)
  • Design user interface options iteratively and test them with users to ensure that their needs are being met and that decisions are backed up by evidence and data
  • Deliver clean and practical designs that align with the myGP® brand guidelines and reflect their company values
  • Organise and maintain the product style guides and design libraries in an efficient way
  • Communicate and collaborate with the development team to ensure that designs are delivered as per the brief and acceptance criteria specified
  • Present design ideas to stakeholders, provide justification and logic for design decisions using key learnings and data-driven insights
  • Promote UX best practice across design and product teams
  • Work with other members of the design team to ensure that user experience is consistent and logical across their market-leading mobile app and web platform
  • Provide input into multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations of stakeholders

  • Maintain web applications on Linux servers in a production environment and use automated tooling to configure new servers.

We are excited to be recruiting a new colleague into our Reboot West team - an innovative project (one of only three nationally) piloting the use of Acceptance Behavioural Therapy (ACT) in a non-clinical setting to give around 200 care leavers the support and opportunities they need to succeed in education, training and employment.  This is a brand new role with the opportunity to provide essential administrative support to our team colleagues.

1625 Independent People (1625ip) is a leading youth homeless charity based in the South West, working with over 2,500 young people. We have strong local partnerships and adhere to the best practice in the sector, thereby building trusting relationships between young people and 1625ip staff is at the core of our work.

What we are looking for:

  • You have empathy with the causes of homelessness amongst young people and those leaving care and the barriers they face.

Support in kickstarting the fundraising process for one of our new brands – be independent and detail-oriented. Business/ management background with the love to tech / startup / VC companies is a plus.

• Identify investment leads that would be relevant for the company's growth in the UK and Europe. These leads can include VC Funds, Angel Investors, Incubators, Foundations etc for a combination of debt and equity investment as well as grants/technical assistance facilities.
